Analytical exploration of the nature of basic processes, material properties, and the forms and structures they generate. Emphasis was on the geometry of architecture, employing physical modeling and theoretical analysis of basic structural systems.

Project I

Five-foot paper tower, built of repeated paper units using no adhesives and capable of supporting a 15-lb top-load. Material: Paper.

Project II

Five-foot bridge and cantilever, built of repeated tensegrity units and capable of supporting two loads. Material: 0.25" wood segments, steel wire, brass clamps.
